This is a pretty cool laptop! It’s the first one of these I’ve seen that wasn’t crumbling in my hands, a pleasant surprise indeed. The battery doesn’t work, but that’s typical.
On this unit, I had to resolder the DC jack, replace the dead CD drive, and lubricate the hinges with lithium grease. I also managed to replace a missing hinge cap with one I had fortunately saved! So, this one worked out fairly nice, even if there was a lot of effort to find a compatible CD drive.
