Tidbits of Wisdom

Though my website is mainly geared towards my vast interest in computers & technology, I also have interest in psychology. I find fascination in intelligent quotes & underlying perspectives that make life more fun and easier to live, and I consider sharing it to be very important!

Some of these are thoughts that I’ve found helpful. Else, if it’s someone else’s direct quote, I attribute.

  • An explanation cannot ever be owed for how you feel.
  • If someone says they know something that most don’t, carefully consider the source.
  • One person’s inability to comprehend your thoughts has no effect on your value as a person.
  • You are your own person. Don’t let anyone impose themselves on you.
  • The most competent of us end up doubting their own judgement, even in the most ideal conditions. Yet, the incompetent make no second guesses.
  • Not one single living creature in the world ever asked to be created the way it was – it simply was.
  • People who can’t stand your ways of expression are never worth having in your life, and people who appreciate your ways are worth having. But the best people of all are the ones that no matter where things go, their undying love and respect for you keeps you both together.

  • “You have a right to exist; you are right to exist.” – A friend of mine
  • “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” – Bernard M. Baruch
  • “One’s level of tolerance of our broken society is not an accurate evaluation of their abilities or value.” – Unknown paraphrase – I read this online but I cannot find the quote.
  • “The only normal people you know are the ones you don’t know very well.” – Alfred Aldier
  • “Sometimes you need to distance yourself to see things clearly.” – John Spence
  • “Things turn out best for people who make the best out of the way things turn out.” – John Wooden
